Four Leader & Berkon Partners Named to New York Super Lawyers®

For the second year in a row, James K. Leader and Frederick D. Berkon, who founded the firm 20 years ago, and their partners, Joseph G. Colao and Glen A. Silverstein, have been named to New York Super Lawyers.

Frederick D. Berkon is a highly regarded litigator and trial attorney. His vast experience includes representing key defendants in multiple trials concerning the crash of a corporate jet, handling complex toxic tort cases, litigating commercial disputes that arise from billion-dollar corporate transactions, and defending securities class actions.

James K. Leader was the 2004 recipient of the DuPont Legal Leaders’ Circle Award and is a member of the prestigious Product Liability Advisory Counsel and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He has litigated high-stakes products liability, toxic tort and commercial matters for more than 30 years.

Joseph G. Colao acts as National Coordinating Counsel for an equipment manufacturer’s entire asbestos docket, overseeing trials across the country. Additionally, Mr. Colao has extensive experience across a broad range of products liability and commercial litigation areas.
