Adam D. Cahn is a partner in the Lower Manhattan, New York, law firm of Sakkas, Cahn & Weiss, LLP. Mr. Cahn advocates for clients who have suffered personal injury due to the negligent or tortuous conduct of others. Through settlement, arbitration or litigation, Mr. Cahn has obtained multimillion-dollar awards for his injured clients. Mr. Cahn’s personal injury cases include vehicle and pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and assault and battery.    

Mr. Cahn earned his law degree from the Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. While attending Touro College, he wrote for the Touro Law Review, co-founded the Touro Environmental Law Journal, won American Jurisprudence awards for academic achievement in trial practice and alternative dispute resolution, and was awarded the Gary M. Schwartz Fellowship resulting in a paid judicial internship. Mr. Cahn graduated in the top quarter of his class, while also meeting the demands of a full-time position in real estate finance.            

Mr. Cahn's undergraduate degree in business management from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business, and his career experience in business ownership, investment banking and real estate informed his representation of corporate clients, including several Fortune 500 companies, in commercial and real estate matters.

Representing clients in both federal and state New York courts, Mr. Cahn is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Listed among the top personal injury attorneys in the 2010 New York Super Lawyers Metropolitan Edition, Adam Cahn is also a member of Montclair's Who's Who Among Law Professionals, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has been named as an outstanding trial lawyer by Litigation Elite.
