Profile

I have been a member of the New York Bar since 1978. My practice and my client base are varied but, the thread that connects my clients to me is that they have all been seriously injured and they all require some much needed help in getting their lives back on track.  I can't remember a single client who would not have exchanged everything obtained in a lawsuit to go back in time - one (1) day before the accident. Since I am a lawyer - not a magician, that was an impossibility.  I still take great pride in knowing that my clients' lives have been made significantly better through my efforts.   I received my undergraduate education at State University of New York at Buffalo where I graduated with honors. I completed my legal education at Union University Albany Law School.  I am licensed to practice before the state courts of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Supreme Court.Aside from the thousands of  personal injury cases I have handled arising from all types of accidents, as well as medical, dental and legal malpractice, I have also taken a particular interest in assisting  people who have had their civil rights violated or were  injured by police officers and other municipal officials who have abused their authority.Throughout the years, I have spoken on numerous medical and legal issues.  Currently, I am a member of the Medical -Legal Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association. I am also on the Judicial Screening Committee and the Ethics Committee.  I am proud to be an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the American Association for Justice.  It is my firm belief that our system of justice is still the best system in the world for improving the quality of life for people injured through the negligence of others.Currently, I teach a course on Medical Malpractice in the the SUNY college system.
