For almost three decades Mr. Enea has devoted his practice to protecting the rights of seniors, the disabled and their families. He practices exclusively in Elder Law, Medicaid Planning and Applications, Guardianship Proceedings (contested and non-contested), Special Needs Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Estates and Estate Litigation. Mr. Enea is fluent in Italian. He is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as Accredited by the American Bar Association.*He is a Past President of the Westchester County Bar Association.Mr. Enea has been elected the Chair-Elect of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) for 2011 and 2012. He is the Immediate Past President of the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is a member of the Guardianship Advisory Committee of the Office of Court Administration for the State of New York. He is the Treasurer of the Association of Mentally Ill Children of Westchester (the Clearview School), and a member of the Board of Ethics for the Town of Somers, New York.* Certification is not a requirement for the practice of law in New York and does not necessarily indicate greater competence than other attorneys experienced in this area of law.
