Organzing another lecture with the Westchester Bar Association concerning "Trial of a Medical Malpractice Case" in Fall 2010., 2004

Other Outstanding Achievements:

• One of our cases was used and cited in the NYS Trial Lawyers Institute Decisions 2008 Seminar that was given all across the State of New York (McArdle vs Hurley 51 Ad3d 741 (2nd Dept. 2008)
• A decision concerning a father of a woman who died intestate was disqualified from receiving distributive share was proved by "clear and convincing evidence", by Mr. Pirrotti and was published on the front page of the NY Law Journal, Decisions of the Day, on August 27, 2004
• A decision of 1st impression in the State of NY concerning Mr. Pirrotti's case was published on the front page of the NY Law Journal, Decisions of the Day, on July 14, 2003
• A page decision was published on the front page of the NY Law Journal, Decisions of the Day, on July 24, 2008 concerning the award of attorney's fees and the granting of summary judgement against an individual for a corporate debt.
• Voted President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Westchester Region, in May 2011 and voted member of the Board of directors in June 2011. On April 22, 2009 our case of Mitaro vs Medtronic made the front page of the New York Law Journal Decisions of the Day, as the Administrative Judge determined that the NYS Tort claims by Mrs Mitaro were exempt from the Federal Premption Clause as set forth in the US Supreme Court Case of Reigel. Thousand of Federal Court cases against Medtronic Inc for a faulty defibrilator lead wire were dismissed, but our case was plead differntly than the Federal cases and survived the Motion to dismiss. It is our understanding that our case is the first case for a Plaintiff to proceed to discovery and depositions in the United States, concerning the Medtronic faulty lead wire., 2009
• Organized 225 Trial Lawyers on September 8, 2009 to oppose changes for the entire trial bar of the 9th Judicial District, which caused a reversal of most of those changes on Janurary 4, 2010 as recognized by the NYS Trial Lawyers Association in a e-mail blast to the bar on January 7, 2010, as follows: "Finally, in recently expressing thanks to NYSTLA’s President, Richard Binko, Chair of the Committee on the Judiciary, Lenore Kramer, and the members of our specially-formed Westchester Committee for their efforts, we were remiss in inadvertently omitting our particular appreciation and respect for the special contributions by Westchester trial lawyer Anthony Pirrotti, Jr. It was Anthony who was significantly responsible for bringing the Bar’s concerns to NYSTLA’s attention at the outset and who greatly contributed to organizing the initial open meeting with the Administration attended by so many of you. The Bar owes him a considerable debt of gratitude". , 2009
