A particular area of emphasis is professional disciplinary defense of mental health professionals. Bruce has been a divorce mediator since 1986 and was also trained as a psychologist-psychoanalyst. He is the author of a number of publications including book chapters and articles on mental healthcare law and mediation, and has self-published a HIPAA Compliance Manual for mental healthcare practices.
