Honors and Awards:

• I am on the board of directors and executive committee of the New York State Trial Lawyers Assoc.(NYSTLA) and am currently it's secretary.  I am a chairman of the Labor Law Committee ( labor law deals with the law concerning construction accidents). I have been selected and inducted as member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and The Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum.  I have been selected by Superlawyers as among the Top 5 percent attorneys in America 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 as seen in the New York Times Magazine.  I was also selected several years in a row, 2008 -2011 by my peers as one of the "Best Lawyers in America" as published in  New York Magazine, selected by Lawdragon as among the leading attorneys in United States and was published in the New York Law Journal in 2006 for having acheived 2 of the 15 highest verdicts in the State of New York the past year and in 2002 as having one of the highest Labor Law verdicts in the State that year.

• Mr Perecman is admitted to the New York State Bar, United States District Courts (Southern and Eastern Districts), and admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Pro bono/Community Service:

• David Perecman has lectured numerous times including to court personnel, The Brooklyn Bar Association and continues to chair the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute's Seminars on construction law. David is active in NYSTLA and works constantly to protect the rights of people injured as a result of the negligence of others not just by representing his clients but by active participation in the govermental process to create and protects these rights. He has testified before several committees of the State of New York's Assembly on the need to strengthen New York laws protecting construction workers and meets with and actively lobby New York State Senators and Assembly members not to weaken those laws. David appeared before and participated in Mayor Bloomberg's task force in 2007 regarding the spike in scaffold related deaths.
• Pro bono counsel to poor persons seeking appeals before the Social Security Administration and to immigrant workers in the hispanic community., 2010

Scholarly Lectures and Writings:

• This article was directed to lawyers and the judiciary to underscore the need to interpret the laws regarding worker safety in a manner that best protects workers and questions some of the case decisions that have done otherwise.  Since profits and speed guide developers and contractors and not always safety concerns the law must recognize and react to this., New York State Trial Lawyers Institute's journal- "Bill of Particulars", 2007
