Profile

Devon Reiff is respected as an exceptional legal resource in New York City and communities throughout the region. Mr. Reiff focuses the attention of his practice solely on personal injury cases.

Mr. Reiff graduated from Fordham University School of Law and was admitted to the New York Bar Association in 1981. He spent several years defending New York City against negligence law suits after his appointment to the Manhattan Trial Unit of the Office of the Corporation Counsel, City of New York. During this time, Mr. Reiff realized that his calling was to represent clients exclusively in personal injury cases.

Devon spent nearly 20 years with the law firm that would become Brecher, Fishman, Pasternack, Heller, Reiff, Walsh & Tilker, P.C. He led the firm’s Negligence Department through its fledgling beginnings until the firm enjoyed a prestigious reputation as a leading negligence trial law firm. In 2007, Devon resigned from his partnership and founded his own firm, Devon Reiff, P.C.

Devon is consistently honored as a leader in the legal community. His achievements and honors include:

  • Honored with highest rating in Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability
  • Awarded Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year by the Institute for Jewish Humanities
  • Selected to New York Super Lawyers 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011
  • Published the article “Reiff’s Roadmap to Jury Selection” in New York State Trial Lawyer’s Quarterly magazine

Mr. Reiff remains active in the legal community by performing pro bono work and by lecturing in continuing legal education seminars. He attributes his several multi-million dollar verdicts to his habit of producing the highest quality legal work from start to finish in each of his cases.
