Donald J. Carbone has over 25 years experience in the fields of construction, contract and surety law, real estate law, corporate, business and commercial law, labor law and appeals, engaging in transactions, litigation, mediation and arbitration.  He has handled numerous complex disputes involving millions of dollars in both the public and private sectors in all state and federal courts, in mediation and before the American Arbitration Association. 

Mr. Carbone represents all facets of the construction and real estate industries, including owners, developers, tenants, general contractors, subcontractors, specialty contractors, design professionals, manufacturers, suppliers and sureties/insurers. 

He has handled numerous complicated disputes, including partnerships, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, buyouts, cost overruns, design defects, defective work claims, scope of work claims, extra work and change orders, delay damages, lost profits, extended and unabsorbed home/office overhead, loss of productivity, out-of-sequence work, suspect work and interference claims, surety claims, mechanic's liens, payment and performance bond claims, wrongful termination, site work, slab on grade, heavy highway construction, prevailing wage claims and union benefit claims.  Many cases involved issues of first impression, and numerous case decisions with which Mr. Carbone has been involved have been published in New York state case law digests.

Mr. Carbone has handled public works matters involving numerous New York City, New York State, various towns and villages, and federal agencies.
