As result she suffers a cardiac arrest and was re-vived in the hospital, but lived out the next 16 months of her life in a a nursing home. Settlement: $899,999 Auto Accident Road worker's truck was hit in the rear while parked on highway doing work. Plaintiff was a decorated Desert Strom veteran and suffered herniated disc and required spinal laminectomy following as result of the accident. Verdict: $750,000 Medical Malpractice Botched face lift resulting in permanent damage (numbness and pain) to the greater auricular nerve innervating one side of the Plaintiff's face. Settlement: $725,000 Medical Malpractice Hospital failed to diagnose fractured nose in 32 year old who presented to emergency room following an assault outside a restaurant. Hospital discharged him hours after he presented, and 2 days later he was re-admitted with sinusitis, abscess and other infections in the sinus and skull which resulted in loss of consciousness, coma, and resulting death.
