Jerry Wolf has been an active practitioner in the pension field since the birth of ERISA in 1976, first at Shearman and Sterling, then as Employee Benefits Partner at Alexander & Green (New York City) and Meltzer Lippe (Mineola, NY). The Wolf Law Group, which Jerry founded in 1999, is ERISA counsel to closely held, tax exempt and professional service companies. Jerry and his pension group have more than 100 years of aggregate ERISA experience in designing, drafting, and overseeing qualified and non-qualified plans; handling IRS, DOL and PBGC audits and corrections; consulting on fiduciary compliance issues employee benefits issues arising in the context of mergers and acquisitions, divorce; ERISA litigation; executive compensation including negotiating employment contracts and 409A consulting. Jerry is a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel, a published jazz composer, and a cantor.
