Gregory Messer has been practicing bankruptcy law for over 30 years. He began his career as a legal aid attorney in Albany, New York and has been in private practice in Brooklyn, New York since 1980. He has represented debtors, debtors in possession, lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and various other parties in bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Messer has been a Chapter 7 trustee on the United States Bankruptcy Court panel for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York since 1980. Mr. Messer frequently lectures on bankruptcy law and practice topics for various accredited CLE and bar associations. He is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
