Founder of the New York, New York, law firm Paul B. Weitz and Associates, PC, attorney Harvey Weitz has earned numerous distinctions and awards in his career. With more than 100 cases with verdicts exceeding a million dollars each, Mr. Weitz focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury and product liability.

Often described as a "trial lawyer's trial lawyer," Mr. Weitz has been named Trial Lawyer of the Year, elected to membership in the lawyers' society Inner Circle of Advocates, and set records for the highest verdict in numerous jurisdictions.

When he was a partner in the Manhattan law firm Schneider Kleinick Weitz & Damashek, Mr. Weitz returned verdicts and settlements of several billion dollars for accident victims. With the death and retirement of his partners, Mr. Weitz now continues in practice with his sons, Andrew and Paul.
