Designated by The Hollywood Reporter Esq. as one of the entertainment industry's top 100 Power Lawyers in 2007 and 2008, Siegel built his music practice representing talents like Aerosmith, Paul Shaffer, Carly Simon, Jim Steinman, Bill Wyman, and super agent Don Buchwald. Experience with the Backstreet Boys and Steven Van Zandt led this Harley Davidson enthusiast to an early involvement with American Idol winner Ruben Studdard. Siegel currently represents nearly all of the top Idol finalists from the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Active in the New York State Bar, Co-Chair of PLI's annual Entertainment Law program, and a frequent lecturer and author on music and copyright issues, including the nationally distributed book Entertainment Law, Siegel is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School. “We have used our ad to promote not only our New York practice, but the programs managed by our charitable foundation. New York Super Lawyers has been an effective forum for introducing the legal community to our many partnerships with organizations such as New York University. The Super Lawyers vehicle is a direct pipeline into New York’s legal community—and that benefits our foundation and the causes it supports.”
