For over 35 years, Jerome A. Wisselman has concentrated on matrimonial and family law. Recognizing the importance of having sufficient resources for complicated litigation matters, he developed a firm which is recognized as among the largest matrimonial firms on Long Island by Long Island Business News. His background in accounting and tax law helps him effectively handle complex financial issues. He is on the Board of Editors of the New York Family Law Monthly, where he is a regular contributor. Mr. Wisselman created and conducts legal workshops for mental health professionals, enabling them to better assist patients going through matrimonial litigation. He has also lectured on and written about grandparental matters for the New York State Bar Association, and has contributed to legislative efforts in this area of law.

Pro bono/Community Service:
- Mr. Wisselman's firm provides a free Pre-Separation and Divorce legal clinic for community members contemplating divorce. It is held on the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00PM at our office. It is a comfortable way for people to ask their questions and get information about any matrimonial or family law issues they have. Mr. Wisselman's firm conducts complimentary seminars and presentations for community members on selected issues of divorce, including How to have A Smart Divorce in a Changed Economy, Fathers' Rights and Divorce Over 50 and same-sex couples.
