Ms. Goldsmith is a Partner and the Chair of the Trusts and Estates department of Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP. Ms. Goldsmith is also a Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated attorney, a New York Metro Super Lawyer, and one of the top 25 attorneys in Westchester.
Ms. Goldsmith is admitted to the Bar in New York and Connecticut and also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
An active practitioner for more than 25 years, Ms. Goldsmith practices in the areas of estate and gift planning, estate administration, planning for closely held businesses, charitable planning and administration, and related private client services. Ms. Goldsmith works closely with clients to implement individualized and tax efficient gift and estate plans for the transfer of wealth, including business succession planning. She has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal on new ways that grandparents can fund their grandchildren’s education. In addition, Ms. Goldsmith has been invited to speak on complex estate planning issues and business succession planning at programs sponsored by Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and other organizations.
Prior to joining Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP, in 2010, Ms. Goldsmith worked at two major New York City law firms before joining a boutique trusts and estates practice in New York City and then founding her own law firm.
