At the law office of John M. Zenir in Mineola, individuals and families find experienced advocacy in all their family law matters. As a trial attorney who has been practicing law in the state of New York since 1992, Mr. Zenir works hard to provide practical and realistic solutions in high-conflict or high-stress legal disputes such as contested divorce, child custody, child support, property division and other legal issues. In every case, he strives to achieve fair outcomes while minimizing the costs of litigation.
Mr. Zenir has been honored by both the Suffolk County and Nassau County bar associations. He is a member of the Law Guardian Panel for Nassau County, serves on the New York State Bar Association's Committee for Children and the Law, and is a former board member of the Legal Aid Society of Nassau County. Since 1994, he has also been a member of the 18-B Family Court Panel for Nassau County for both trials and appeals.
Mr. Zenir is a frequently requested lecturer on family law topics. In addition, he maintains a strong commitment to his community. He has participated in pro bono activities for Nassau County's Volunteer Lawyers Project for nearly 20 years.
