Upon graduation from Columbia Law School in 1983 as a Frank Smithwick Hogan Scholar, Lawrence Biondi started his own law firm solely representing victims of personal injuries. He has continued to expand his practice over the last 20 years, representing victims of medical malpractice, construction accidents, products liability, lead paint exposure and toxic torts. In the last ten years, Mr. Biondi has personally obtained verdicts and settlements in excess of $80 million. Mr. Biondi recently filed a groundbreaking class action lawsuit against General Electric and Monsanto Company on behalf of more than 25,000 landowners surrounding the General Electric Plant in Schenectady, New York, claiming personal injuries and property damage due to PCB contamination. The action seeks $20 billion in damages.
