Profile

Michael has long been a family law practitioner at both the trial and appellate levels. He graduated from Cornell University Law School where he served as Associate Editor of the Law Review. He is among fewer than 100 attorneys nationally named as a Diplomat in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. He has appeared in all editions of The Best Lawyers in America. He has lectured at the Advanced Practice Institute of Hofstra Law School and the Practicing Law Institute. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers for which he served as National President, New York State Chapter President and Chair of the National Continuing Legal Education Committee. He also served as Chair of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and as President of the Nassau County Bar Association.
