Mitchell J. Sassower is the managing partner of Arye, Lustig & Sassower, P.C., one of the premier personal injury law firms serving the New York City area and Long Island. Long recognized as both a shrewd negotiator and one of the city’s top personal injury attorneys, Mr. Sassower focuses on representing plaintiffs in trials and appeals involving medical negligence claims, injuries caused by defective products and various types of accidents, including construction accidents.
Mr. Sassower holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a past recipient of the prestigious "Attorney of the Year" award bestowed annually by the Institute of Jewish Humanities. He serves on the board of directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and remains an active member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice as well. He has written and lectured extensively on topics related to his practice, including the topics of construction accidents and law firm management. He is the author of an article ("Recent Labor Law 240 Decisions Don't Go Far Enough in Protecting Workers") that was published in the New York Law Journal on January 30, 2012.
