Profile

Founded by three former federal prosecutors, our firm specializes in white-collar criminal defense and commercial litigation. We represent both individuals and companies, public and private, and consider ourselves primarily trial lawyers. While we consider ourselves trial lawyers, we also recognize that sophisticated corporate and individual clients, facing investigations, prosecutions, or lawsuits, must consider a range of options. We aim to present our clients with the best of the available options and strategies. Because each matter that comes to our firm is unique, we are constantly challenged to find innovative solutions to difficult problems. Mr. DeFeis has represented individuals and corporations in securities, tax, mail and wire fraud cases and in money laundering, bribery and public corruption investigations. He also has expertise in sentencing and criminal appeals. He has also handled major commercial litigations, including securities class actions, arbitrations and bankruptcy court proceedings.
