For over 30 years Norman A. Olch has successfully represented individuals and companies in important civil and criminal appeals in state and federal courts. His appellate advocacy has covered such diverse areas as contract law, constitutional law, civil procedure, homicide and white collar crimes, employment discrimination, and real property disputes. His appellate advocacy has been widely recognized. From 2003 to 2006 he was Chair of the Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction of the New York State Bar Association, and he is the Planning Chair of the Bar Association’s statewide Continuing Legal Education program for Appellate Practice. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Executive Board of the Council of Appellate Lawyers of the American Bar Association. He has contributed important articles to The New York Law Journal on appellate courts and appellate advocacy. He is co-author of the New York State chapter in the American Bar Association's forthcoming book on appellate practice in the United States. He is AV rated.
