Steven J. Schwartzapfel has dedicated his career to helping others and protecting the rights of those who cannot protect themselves. Steven has shown his dedication by helping thousands of clients obtain the money and benefits they deserve, as well as through his firm's longstanding support of more than 40 charities, foundations and community groups.

In addition to his Social Security Disability practice, Steven is actively involved in the legal community. He has lectured to attorneys and judges on various topics ranging from litigation strategies and tactics to maximizing damages, practice management, client relations and legal ethics. He has been a member, director, officer and past President-elect of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and currently serves as a director emeritus. Steven is a Founding Member and Vice President of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and has served on numerous judicial screening committees.
