A successful trial attorney and multiyear listee in Super Lawyers magazine, Ted Oshman was also voted one of the Top 100 Lawyers in New York. He concentrates his practice on defending plaintiffs’ rights in cases involving medical malpractice and medical devices, pharmaceutical litigation and environmental law.
Mr. Oshman has been an active leader in numerous litigation actions, including those related to Fosamax, Ephedra, Avandia and other dangerous drugs, as well as pelvic mesh, birth control and birth defects, and defective hip and knee implants. Currently, he is serving as lead counsel in the consolidated New Jersey Reglan litigation.
Mr. Oshman graduated with his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and was admitted to the bar in 1981. In addition to handling cases at his New York firm, Oshman & Mirisola, L.L.P., he frequently lectures at legal seminars. He has also taught classes on medical ethics and served as a commentator on various TV and radio talk shows.
