THOMAS A. MARTIN concentrates his practice on a broad spectrum of litigation including commercial litigation insurance law and insurance coverage, construction, director's & officer's liability, general liability, and the defense of product manufacturers. He has extensive experience in the handling of all aspects of the litigation process, including substantive motions, trials and appeals in the state and federal courts in both New York and New Jersey. Mr. Martin is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and of Tufts University. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and its sections on Commercial Litigation and Negligence Compensation and Insurance Law and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in both the New York and New Jersey State Courts and in the Federal Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the head of the firm's Litigation department and sits on its executive committee.
