For more than 24 years, Jim Reed has practiced in the state and federal courts of both New York and Pennsylvania in the areas of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Legal Malpractice.

For several years, Jim has been selected as a NY SuperLawyer and for membership in the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Forum membership is limited to trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement of Two Million Dollars or more.

Jim was selected for membership following his successful handling of a medical malpractice case for a little girl who suffered permanent brain damage due to a delay in delivery.  This case resulted in a structured settlement with projected payments to the disabled child of over $20,000,000 for her profound medical and nursing needs and with a present value of $2.4M.

In addition to this case, Jim has handled several other Million-Plus cases ($2,500,000, $2,000,000 -- $1,625,000, $945,000, etc.).  Several years ago, WETM-TV selected Jim as their local legal expert.  Jim is featured on the Noon News on Wednesdays where he responds to listeners' legal questions.

Jim is a prolific legal writer:  on his blogs (www.NYInjuryLawBlog.com and www.NYBikeAccidentBlog), in two books (Learn the Five Secrets to Buying Auto Insurance and Learn the Five Deadly Mistakes that can Kill Your Accident Case), and in the 2008 NYSBA book, The Plaintiff's Personal Injury Action in NY).
