A. Frank Johns, JD, LLM, CELA, is nationally recognized in elder law, guardianship, disability rights, special needs trusts, and legal ethics. A charter partner in his firm, which has offices in Charlotte and Greensboro, he is past President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He has served in an advisory role for several professional groups including the Academy of Special Needs Planners, Elder Counsel, the National Guardianship Association, and the North Carolina Bar Association Elder Law Section. He is a frequent speaker on guardianship, elder law, special needs trusts, and legal ethics, presenting on local, state, and national levels. He serves on a number of community boards.
