Attorney Celeste M. Harris is a partner of Maynard & Harris Attorneys at Law, PLLC, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A personal injury attorney, she is board-certified as a specialist in workers' compensation claims by the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization. She is also a certified mediator by the Dispute Resolution Commission of North Carolina.
Ms. Harris devotes her practice to representing individuals who have suffered injury due to the negligence of others. In particular, she assists employees who have suffered on-the-job injuries and seek workers' compensation for their medical bills and lost wages. She also represents individuals needing Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits.
Among her many legal affiliations, Ms. Harris served on the board of governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice from 2000 to 2006 and was president of the Forsyth County Women Attorneys Association in 1998. In addition to maintaining an active membership in both organizations, she currently serves as vice chair for the Legal Aid Society of North Carolina.
