H. Clay Hemric Jr. is a partner at Hemric, Hemric & Champion, P.A., a personal injury and criminal defense law firm serving clients in Alamance County and surrounding portions of central North Carolina. Mr. Hemric has had extensive experience and success in both fields of practice, representing plaintiffs in lawsuits involving motor vehicle accidents, defective or unreasonably dangerous products, property owner negligence, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and various other issues and causes, and defending individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses such as DWI (DUI), drug possession and assault.
Mr. Hemric is a 1971 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, a United States Marine Corps veteran and a board certified criminal law specialist* since 1994. Mr. Hemric’s skill and accomplishments as an attorney have led to his inclusion among North Carolina’s "Legal Elite," by Business North Carolina Magazine (2006), and in the listings of North Carolina Super Lawyers in 2010 and 2011. Mr. Hemric is also fluent in Spanish and has been an active member of several professional organizations throughout his career, including the Alamance County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
