Profile

John C. Hine is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, with a business degree from the University of North Carolina, law degree from the University of Tennessee, and Master of Law (in Taxation) from New York University. Formerly a lawyer with the IRS, he is also a retired JAG officer in the USAFR and the principal draftsman of North Carolina's Elective Share Statute.
