Profile

Lucy Inman has practiced for nearly 20 years in civil litigation matters involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, professional negligence, commercial disputes, civil rights, and class action claims. A 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law, she served as an articles editor of the North Carolina Law Review and clerked for the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Lucy practiced in Los Angeles for several years before returning to Raleigh, where she is of counsel with Zaytoun Law Firm. Lucy enjoys writing about trial and appellate issues and teaching practical skills seminars. Lucy is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina Bar Association.  Lucy also serves on the Board of Directors of Disability Rights North Carolina and on the North Carolina Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Advisory Council.
