Since 1994, Noell P. Tin has been representing clients in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas. In 2002, he founded what is today Tin Fulton Walker & Owen PLLC. His areas of law practice include criminal defense and professional liability. In addition to achieving victories in homicide and drug cases, he has successfully represented clients and businesses in white collar cases. Many of his high profile cases have been featured in the New York Times and the Charlotte Observer. In addition, some of his cases have attracted media coverage on both national and local television stations, including CBS' "60 Minutes" and ABC News' "20/20."

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Tin has achieved many honors and awards. He has been awarded with Martindale Hubbell's peer-reviewed AV-Preeminent* rating, which recognizes his exceptional ethical standards and legal abilities, since he was in his early 30s. He has also been noted for white collar crime and non-white collar crime in prestigious publications, such as the Best Lawyers in America** and Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite. Mr. Tin is also a member of the Litigation Counsel of America, which is an honorary organization for trial attorneys.

Committed to professional excellence and maintaining a professional profile, Mr. Tin serves on the board of the Fair Trial Initiative and is the co-chair of the Criminal Defense Section of the Legal Affairs Committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is also a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Professionalism Lawyer Life and Culture Committee and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice’s Task Force on Ethnic and Racial Bias.
