Andrew (Andy) Cecil is a partner at Cecil & Geiser, LLP where he practices plaintiffs' personal injury law. After Andy graduated from The University of Louisville School of Law, he began his career as a defense lawyer, representing insurance companies and corporations. In 1993, Andy joined Plymale & Associates (later named Cecil & Geiser) to represent the people against the big companies he had once defended. He has tried cases in many Ohio counties, and is a member of the National Board of Trial Advocacy (less than 5 percent of attorneys in Ohio have this certification), the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is an Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame inductee. In 2010 Andy was named Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Ohio by The American Trial Lawyers Assoc. Andy is a frequent lecturer to trial lawyer groups and young lawyers.

Andy and the firm are also proud to sponsor the YWCA Fall Festival for center residents and employees.
