Egan Patrick Kilbane joined the law firm of Elk & Elk in December of 2008. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the Judicial Staff Attorney to former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Francis E. Sweeney, Judge Leo M. Spellacy and Judge Harry A. Hanna at the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. These judges presided over a special docket devoted to products liability claims for injuries and death arising from exposure to harmful materials, such as asbestos. Egan also has several years’ experience working at one of the finer insurance defense law firms in Ohio, from which he gained insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend the same type of claims that he now prosecutes.

Egan’s practice focuses primarily upon personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from medical negligence, nursing home negligence, products liability and automobile and trucking negligence. He is honored to be recognized as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers, Cincinnati Magazine and Northern Ohio Live.

Egan received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and represents clients throughout the 88 Ohio counties.
