Attorney Howard Mishkind is the president of Mishkind Law Firm Co., L.P.A., in Cleveland, Ohio. Drawing on more than 30 years of trial experience, he represents plaintiffs who have sustained serious injuries or death due to medical negligence caused by doctors, hospitals and nursing homes, as well as those who have suffered catastrophic injuries in motor vehicle accidents. He also handles injury and death claims associated with vaccinations in the Court of Federal Claims. Additionally, Mr. Mishkind represents clients in legal malpractice actions and often serves as an expert in legal malpractice trials.
Mr. Mishkind is a life member of the Multi-million Dollar Advocates Forum, reserved only for lawyers who have obtained verdicts and settlements of $1 million or more on behalf of their clients. Having served as chair and co-chair of the Certified Grievance Committees with the former Cuyahoga County Bar Association, he currently sits on the Certified Grievance Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and he takes an active part in other local, state and national legal organizations.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Mishkind participates in seminars locally and statewide on personal injury, medical malpractice, civil litigation and legal ethics. He also frequently lectures at CLE seminars on trial topics and medical negligence and as a guest lecturer at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
