Profile

Mr. Schobert leads HCP's health care trial group, representing physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers throughout the State of Ohio. He is a frequent lecturer to physicians, risk managers, insurance companies, and other medical care providers on issues of risk management, managed care entities, anti-dumping concerns, malpractice avoidance, and defense strategies. Mr. Schobert has argued a number of cases before the Ohio Supreme Court, and several of his cases have been reported by the print media. Mr. Schobert has spoken at seminars presented to hospitals and insurers in Ohio and Florida. He was elected to ABOTA in 2003, was named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and named in The Best Lawyers in America in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
