John R. Climaco concentrates on product liability, class actions, mass torts, security fraud. He is the founder of Climaco, Wilcox, Peca, Tarantino & Garofoli Co., L.P.A. with offices in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. The National Law Journal named John one of the 100 most powerful lawyers in the United States. John remains a member of the Castano Plaintiffs Legal Committee which in 1999 filed the first nicotine addiction action against the tobacco industry. Castano, Mississippi, Texas, and Florida are recognized as Tobacco Pioneers. The Pioneers' efforts resulted in the $1.25 billion settlement with the tobacco industry.
