Margaret H. Kreiner is an Ohio attorney with more than 26 years of experience in elder law. She is also certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) and the Florida Bar Association. Her practice areas include Medicaid and Medicare, estate planning, probate, durable powers of attorney, wills and trusts, veterans' aid, housing issues, long-term care planning, financial exploitation, spousal impoverishment and all related matters.
Ms. Kreiner co-authored the book "Ohio Elder Law," which was published by West and is part of Baldwin's Ohio Handbook Series. She is also the author of numerous articles that have been featured in a wide array of publications.
In 1966 and 1976 respectively, Ms. Kreiner earned her B.S. and M.B.A. degrees. In 1985, she graduated with her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. She serves as a mediator for the Summit County Probate Court, the Domestic Relations Summit County Court and the Better Business Bureau. She is also a member of numerous associations, including the Akron Bar, the Ohio State Bar, the American Bar, the Florida Bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
