Philip Korey practices criminal defense in state and federal courts, ranging from white collar crime to DUI. He also represents professionals before state licensing boards. Mr. Korey has obtained acquittals in numerous jury trials. He has also successfully appealed convictions and later obtained acquittals. One such case involved a death row inmate. In a publicized securities fraud case, he represented an executive who was never charged. He won a new trial on a 22-year-old murder case based on state misconduct. Mr. Korey is a frequent lecturer at CLE seminars. His poem entitled "Kill," a reflection on capital punishment, was published in The Vindicator, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers' magazine.
