Phillip Ciano heads the corporate and complex litigation group at Ciano & Goldwasser, LLP. He represents a variety of corporations and physician practice groups in commercial and employment-related transactions in state and federal courts across the United States. His practice ranges from business and health care disputes and enforcement and defense of non-compete agreements to partner/shareholder disputes and a variety of transactional matters. Mr. Ciano also serves as counsel in a number of high-profile multidistrict litigation and mass tort matters. Prior to attending The John Marshall Law School in Chicago (where he graduated cum laude), Mr. Ciano attended Tufts' Fletcher School of International Law and Diplomacy.

Pro bono/Community Service:
- Phillip Ciano serves as Trustee for two non-profit Foundations of former professional athletes: David Dellucci and Brian Anderson. (Dellucci's Dream Foundation and The Anderson Foundation). Additionally, he serves as an Advisory Board Member of his alma mater, Lake Catholic High School. A parishoner of Gesu Catholic Church in University Heights, Mr. Ciano and Ciano & Goldwasser make community service a priority.
Verdicts and Settlements:
- Served as one of 5 Class Counsel in the $1.1B settlement of In re. Sulzer Hip and Knee Prosthetic Liability Litigation (2002). Co-counsel in $6.25M verdict in Cooley v. Lincoln Electric, et al. (2009). Lead counsel in multiple commercial and tort trials resulting in combined settlements and verdicts well in excess of $1M.
