Richard D. Lawrence has been trying cases for over 39 years in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky. Early years of practice included successful defense of persons accused of serious crimes including murder. Since the 1980s, he has concentrated on representing those who have been catastrophically injured as a result of negligent medical care and has achieved some of the largest verdicts ever awarded for these types of claims in either Ohio or Kentucky. In addition to the work he does on behalf of victims of medical malpractice, Richard Lawrence also handles cases involving serious personal injuries or wrongful death, product liability law, unfair denials of health or disability benefits, insurance bad faith, and nursing home abuse or neglect.
Professionally, Mr. Lawrence's proven leadership, skills and results have earned him recognition in "The Best Lawyers in America" and "Who's Who in American Law" publications, among others. He has also has been recognized by both Super Lawyers of Ohio and Super Lawyers of Kentucky as being in the top 50 lawyers in both states.
