Rik has been representing clients, both from management and employee perspectives, in Workers' Compensation and other employment-related matters since 1982.  He has practiced extensively before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and Bureau of Workers' Compensation, in addition to appearing before many other administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other.  In addition, he has appeared in trial and before appellate courts throughout Ohio. In 1999 Rik was one of the first attorneys certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in Ohio Workers' Compensation law, maintaining that certification into the present. In addition to being admitted to practice before all Courts and administrative agencies in Ohio, Rik is also admitted to practice in the Federal Distriction Court, Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
