Attorney Samuel Weiner has been practicing law for more than 30 years, handling criminal defense matters for clients in Columbus, Ohio, and throughout the region. An accomplished trial lawyer, Mr. Weiner has a proven record of success practicing in state and federal criminal courts throughout the United States.
Throughout his career, Mr. Weiner has overseen more than 300 jury trials to conclusion in all types of felonies, misdemeanors and traffic offenses, including white collar crimes, DUI charges, drug crimes and other offenses.
Mr. Weiner is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, where he chaired the Criminal Law Committee from 1987 to 1989. He acted as District 7 delegate to the Ohio State Bar Council of Delegates in 1994 and has been a member of the Board of Governors since 1997, serving as president from 2003 to 2004.
He has served as a member of the Franklin County Public Defender’s Commission since 1984 and received the Earl F. Morris Professionalism Award in 1995. He is an adjunct professor of law for Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law.
