Profile

Our firm has a different approach to medical malpractice cases than most other firms.  First, we limit the number of new cases that we accept each year to enable us to have the time needed to bring each case to a successful conclusion.  Second, we work on all of our cases as a team.  We believe that having several attorneys working together on a case will result in a better outcome, both in getting the case concluded more quickly as well as determining the best strategy on how to handle each new development.

Verdicts and Settlements:

  • I have participated in trials, which have resulted in some of the highest verdicts in southern Ohio in the area of medical malpractice.  We have also settled numerouse large cases in the fields of medical malpractice, products liability and personal injury. We recently represented a young man in one of the many pending pain pump product liability cases.  Despite hundreds of cases being filed across the country, we were the only firm to discover and allege that the CEO and other high officials of the pain pump manufacturer were profiting from the sale of their stock in the company.  The CEO had intentionally suspended a program being implemented by his company to warn physicians of the use of the pain pump in the joint space.  During the time the warning was suspended, we found that he exercised his stock options and sold large quantities of his shares at the highest price ever for the stock.  After the warning program was finally implemented, the stock plummeted, leaving most investors out in the cold.
