Profile

Stephen D. Lerner has a national bankruptcy and restructuring practice in which he represents debtors, creditors' committees, secured creditors, and acquirers of troubled businesses in Chapter 11 reorganization cases and out-of-court restructurings. Recently, Mr. Lerner represented the Committee of Chrysler Affected Dealers in Chrysler LLC's chapter 11 case (New York) and he led the firm's representations of the Enron Creditors Committee (New York) and EaglePicher (Ohio).  Mr. Lerner is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 1997, and has been honored by Chambers USA as one of Ohio's leading bankruptcy lawyers since 2004, receiving a Star Individual rating (highest tier) in 2009.
