Terrance J. McGonegal of Dover, Ohio who, with Webster M. Lonas, Jr., founded the firm, wants it clear to injured workers and their families that they are with them throughout the administrative and judicial process.McGonegal has been recognized as a top lawyer in workers' compensation and has been listed in the 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 edition of Super Lawyers. To become selected in "Super Lawyers", ballots were sent to more than 33,000 attorneys across Ohio. Only 5 percent of the OSBA receive the honor. McGonegal has been practicing since 1977. His practice is limited to workers' compensation and he has also been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Supreme Court as a specialist in workers' compensation law. This board certification makes McGonegal one of a small group of attorneys in Ohio to have earned this distinction. He is the only attorney in Tuscarawas County representing injured workers to have attained this board certification in workers' compensation. McGonegal is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, received an A.B. in Latin from John Carroll University and received his juris doctorate degree from Samford University. He is a member of the American, Ohio, Tuscarawas and Stark Counties Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a sustaining member of the Ohio Sate Bar Association.
