Barkett, an OU College of Law graduate, has received the American Jurisprudence Award for achievement in trial practice. He gained extensive trial experience through his work at one of Oklahoma’s most prominent defense firms—fielding more than 50 jury trials in his first 10 years of practice.

Graves, a TU College of Law graduate, has received American Jurisprudence Awards for his achievement in legal ethics, research and writing. He gained diverse legal experience as general and litigation counsel for a variety of corporations in the medical device, automotive and service industries.

Partner Chad McLain practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and medical negligence. A former claims specialist for a large national insurer, he handles most of the firm’s catastrophic motor vehicle injury cases. Mary M. Barcus, who recently joined the firm after moving to Tulsa from Dallas, has more than 20 years of litigation experience in the health-care field, much of which has been spent obtaining justice for patients compromised by their HMOs or who were victims of malpractice.
