Cathy M. Christensen practices in the areas of family law, guardianships, adoptions, general civil litigation, and collections. She is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. She served as the 1994 Vice President of the Oklahoma Bar Association and served six years as a Governor of the Oklahoma Bar Association. She is the 2011 president-elect of the Oklahoma Bar Association and will serve as the 2012 OBA President.  Ms. Christensen is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City University School of Law. She was a recipient of the OBA Mona S. Lambird Spotlight Award (2006), recognizing women who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession; the Oklahoma County Bar Association, Professional Service Award, (2010); Oklahoma City University School of Law Award for Community Service (2009); and, the OBA President's Award (2008). Cathy serves on the Executive Board of Oklahoma City University School of Law. She is active in many state and county bar activities and in her community. Cathy is a Trustee of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the Amercan Bar Foundation. She has three sons: Blake Christensen, D.O., Adam Christensen, JD, MBA, and John Ditmars, III.  She and her husband, John J. Ditmars, Jr., DPM, are involved in a number of community activities.
