Professional Experience: Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook as an associate, Arthur worked at a private law firm in Hillsboro, Oregon, and then for St. Andrew Legal Clinic’s Washington County branch office, where he provided legal representation in the areas of domestic relations, adoption, and estate planning.

Education: Arthur graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, California, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After studying towards a MA in History at California State University, Long Beach, he moved to Oregon where he received his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon.
Professional Activities: Arthur is a current director for the Washington County Bar Association. Arthur is a member of the Multnomah and Washington County Bar Associations. Arthur is a committed community activist. He has volunteered in the past for Multnomah County Volunteer Lawyer's Project (1995 Outstanding Service Award) and St. Andrew Legal Clinic (2000 Volunteer of the Year Award). He is a current fundraiser for St. Andrew Legal Clinic’s annual Race for Justice and has been recognized for his individual pro bono efforts (2002 Oregon State Bar Pro Bono Challenge and 2007 Oregon State Bar Pro Bono Honor Roll).
Interests: Arthur's interests include an active passion for history and collecting Asian antiques.
