Profile

Ms. McFarland attended Sweet Briar College and graduated from Portland State University with a degree in business administration. She graduated from Lewis and Clark College Northwestern School of Law in 1974.  Her practice has been devoted to estate planning and family law and since 1978 has been exclusively family law.  She is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubble.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a  member and past president of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Academy of Family Law Prafatitioners.  She is a member of the Multnomah County and Washington County Bar Associations and the Oregon State Bar Association.  She is a Drector of the Washington County Conciliation Services, past member of the Oregon State Bar Ethics Committee and past director of the Washington County Bar Association.  Her civic contributions include membership in the Portland Hunt Club, Oregon Symphony Society, Parry Center for Children and Director of Hope Crisis.  Her farming activities include founding the Wllamette Valley Tree Fruit Growers' Association.
